Our single-origin decaf coffee is meticulously sourced from specific regions and farms to ensure exceptional quality. Featuring a blend of Castillo and Caturra varieties from Colombia, these beans undergo a precise washing process before being roasted to perfection at 425°F, resulting in a remarkably smooth taste.

This decaf coffee is incredibly versatile and can be used for various brewing methods, such as espresso, drip, and cold brew. Thanks to our natural decaffeination process using Ethyl Acetate (EA), the coffee's true origin flavors remain intact, providing an authentic and satisfying coffee experience.

How is Coffee Decaffeinated?

In the world of coffee, the way decaf is made can really change how it tastes and how good it is for you. A lot of the time, decaf coffee goes through some harsh treatments using chemicals that are tough on the beans and can take away some of the natural, yummy flavors. But here's the cool part about our coffee: our partners in Colombia use a gentle method with ethyl acetate, a natural compound from fruits, to remove the caffeine. This method keeps all the rich flavors in the coffee, making it just as tasty as regular coffee.

While conventional decaf often loses its flavor due to the strong chemicals used, our process in Colombia ensures the coffee stays delicious and true to its nature. They steam the beans until they puff up, then wash them with the ethyl acetate solution, which carefully picks out the caffeine without messing with the bean's taste.
