About the Growers

Our Polar Monkey blend sources its exceptional beans from Brazil and a few other South American regions. A significant portion comes from Fazenda Nossa Senhora da Medalha, located in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Acquired by Bruno Henrique and his family in 1995, this farm spans 14 hectares and is home to approximately twenty-six thousand coffee trees. The high-altitude location, ranging from 1200-1280 meters, combined with the unique climate and soil of the Mantiqueira de Minas region, imparts distinctive characteristics to the beans.

The farm exclusively produces 100% arabica trees, featuring Catuaí, Mundo Novo, Acaiá, and Icatu varietals. Each bean is manually harvested, ensuring the utmost quality and flavor. Sustainable cultivation practices are a cornerstone of their operation, respecting the environment and adhering to Brazilian labor laws. This dedication not only produces superior coffee but also enhances the quality of life for their employees. The result is a coffee that is rich in flavor and deeply rooted in a tradition of excellence.
