If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Before initiating any return, or if you have any questions, please contact us directly at help@embercoffee.co.
Items eligible for return include apparel, mugs, coffee purchased as ongoing subscriptions, and brewing equipment sold by Ember Coffee Company, subject to the conditions below.
Items not eligible for return include any Ember Coffee Company product purchased through a third party, any product received as a trial or promotional item, prepaid subscriptions, any item where the purchase price was paid by or through a third party, and gift purchases (products purchased by one customer for another recipient). For Ember Coffee Company products purchased through third parties, please consult that seller's return policy.
How We Handle Returns
Ember Coffee Company accepts returns on unopened products only within 14 calendar days of delivery, based on the USPS delivery date, provided no fulfillment error was made by Ember.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition it was received.
- The item must be able to be returned to stock and will be inspected by our roastery team upon receipt.
- Refunds are issued only after the item is received, inspected, and approved by the roastery team.
If your item has been opened and no fulfillment error was made by Ember, it is not eligible for a refund. This includes situations where the customer did not enjoy the flavor of the coffee.
Returns may be made:
- By mail (USPS). Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- In-store, if local. Please note that baristas cannot process refunds. All in-store returns are reviewed and processed by the roastery team when available.
Refunds are issued after the roastery team processes the return and returns eligible items to stock.
Return Shipping

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.
How We Handle Cancellations
If your order has not yet shipped, it may be canceled and refunded.
Some subscriptions require a minimum commitment term (such as a three-month subscription period). These subscriptions cannot be canceled until the required term has been fulfilled due to special pricing provided in advance.
Prepaid subscriptions cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded.
If your order has already shipped, it cannot be canceled. Customers may either:
- Receive the order they paid for, or
- Return the order at their own shipping cost for a refund, provided the product is unopened and returned within 14 days of delivery.
All subscription commitment terms still apply, and prepaid subscriptions remain nonrefundable.
How We Handle Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, our roastery team will inspect it and notify you that we have received your return. We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund after inspection.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment. Refund timing depends on your card issuer or payment provider.
