With a recent rise in popularity of decaf coffees, we decided to profile a particular honey process (higher quality processing method) coffee from a collective of farmers in the Marcala region then we sent it to Descamex in Vera Cruz, Mexico where it was organically decaffeinated using pure water from Pico de Orizaba (without use of chemicals).
This decaf coffee is incredibly versatile and can be used for various brewing methods, such as espresso, drip, and cold brew. Thanks to our natural decaffeination process using Mountain Water Processing (MWP), the coffee's true origin flavors remain intact, providing an authentic and satisfying coffee experience—without any harsh chemicals.
For the best Keurig cup, use the Strong setting and brew 6–8 oz. Our roast is built for balance, and a smaller cup size brings out better flavor and body. If you can, use filtered water, and enjoy it right after brewing (a quick water-only rinse first helps too).
Air roasting uses clean, hot air to roast each coffee bean evenly—resulting in a smoother, cleaner flavor without the bitterness or burnt taste you get from traditional drum roasting. Because the beans don’t sit on hot metal, there's no smoky aftertaste—just pure, nuanced notes. It’s a gentler process that lets the bean’s true character shine.
