Our Sumatra Aceh roast hails from the northern Sumatran region of Aceh, known for its diverse geography, volcanic mountains, and stunning Lake Taboa, the largest volcanic lake in the world. Produced mostly by women smallholders, coffee from this region is truly unique.
Processed through 'Wet-Hulling' or 'Giling Basah', a technique born out of the area's rainy climate, the beans shed their parchment layer, expediting drying even amidst heavy rainfall. This method imparts a signature earthy, savory taste to the coffee, with vegetal undertones that set it apart.
