Most of us measure coffee with whatever is closest. The tablespoon out of the drawer, or a handful straight from the bag. It works fine. It also means the cup is a little different every morning, and you never quite know which one you are getting.

We have found that the fix is usually just having the right thing sitting in the bag where you can reach it.

This is a 30 ml scoop, about two level tablespoons, which for most people comes out close to a single cup. Stainless steel bowl, wood handle, EMBER COFFEE CO engraved into the steel so it stays there. It has some weight in the hand. It feels like a tool.

It arrives in a small box, which makes it easy to hand to someone.
