Our 10,000 Lakes K-Pods, roasted in Big Lake, Minnesota. This medium roast blend has chocolate and buttery caramel notes, a smooth and balanced brew without the bitterness of darker roasts. Sourced from Central and South American beans. Designed for K-Cup brewers. Each pod is a convenient way to enjoy Ember's signature roast, rooted in Minnesota pride and small-batch precision.

Use the Strong setting on your Keurig and brew at 6 to 8 oz. A smaller cup size pulls more flavor and body from the pod.

Filtered water makes a noticeable difference. Run a water-only cycle first to clear the machine, then brew and enjoy while it's hot.

About the Producer

This blend pairs Peruvian and Guatemalan coffees, both grown at elevation in volcanic soil. The Peruvian side comes from smallholders on Andean terraces, hand-picking heirloom varieties under shade canopy. Guatemala's contribution grows on the slopes of active volcanoes, tended by Indigenous cooperatives with deep generational knowledge of the land.

Both origins use shade-grown cultivation and raised-bed drying. The combination works because they share a similar growing philosophy (high altitude, low intervention, hand processing) while bringing complementary flavor profiles to the cup. Peru adds brightness and clean sweetness; Guatemala adds body and chocolate depth.
